This seminar will discuss the importance of learning Braille for both children and adults, including information on the value of using Braille at school, home, and in the workplace. Topics will include the definition of literacy, the three levels of literacy, the Braille literacy crisis, reasons to learn Braille and teach Braille to children, Braille and employment, un-contracted/ contracted Braille, the benefits of Braille and auditory learning, learning Braille with residual vision, and promoting Braille. |
