The ACVREP Board of Directors, based on the recommendation of the CATIS Subject Matter Expert Committee, has approved for posting for public comment a new Category 3 Eligibility path. This category recognizes that for ATBVI technical training lasting at least one year that meets all of the Body of Knowledge of CATIS certification combined with the other requirements of Category 3 can provide an effective path for certification.

All comments will be reviewed by the Subject Matter Expert Committee and the Board of Directors before any final decisions on the additional Eligibility path are made.
