New Mexico School for the Arts, a statewide public high school in Santa Fe, NM, seeks a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (full-time) for the 2018-2019 school year.
NMSA provides access to a rigorous mastery arts and academic high school education for youth with passion and aptitude in the arts, leading to post-secondary learning, careers in the arts, and lives that contribute to society. NMSA serves over 200 students in grades 9-12 from all across New Mexico. It has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School by the US Department of Education.
NMSA seeks passionate educators who are eager to: teach within and instill in students the growth mindset; provide far-reaching advocacy for students; participate in data-driven instructional practices; and collaborate with faculty, administration, and staff to support a path to success for all students, regardless of educational background.
Applicant must possess or be able to obtain a New Mexico Blind & Visually Impaired Teaching License.
